WHAT ARE LASH EXTENSIONS & WILL THEY DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?
Lash extensions are individual synthetic hairs that are cured to a single natural lash using lash adhesive. Lash extensions are semi permanent and waterproof. No, lash extensions will not damage your natural lashes when completed by an educated lash artist.
HOW DOES THE PROCESS OF LASH EXTENSIONS WORK?
The client will sit in a recliner, with their eyes closed, as the lash tech completes their set. Full sets can take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours to complete. Fills can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour & 45 minutes to complete.
CAN CLIENTS WITH SENSITIVE EYES STILL GET LASH EXTENSIONS?
Absolutely! We work with many types of adhesives and have adhesives specially for sensitive eyes.
HOW LONG DO LASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
Retention is based on the aftercare of the lash set from the client as well as the growth cycle of the natural lashes. Your natural lashes will shed anywhere between 2-5 lashes per day. It is recommended to schedule a fill every 2 weeks to keep your lash set fresh and full.
HOW CAN I PREP FOR MY LASH APPOINTMENT?
Please come to your appointment with a clean face & lashes. No makeup, mascara, lash strip glue, or oil based lotions/creams. Please do not drink energy or caffeinated drinks as they may cause your eyes to flutter during your lash set.
HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY LASH SET?
It is required to wash your lash extensions at least once a day, with a lash extension cleanser, to prevent any bacteria from building up along the lash line. Avoid picking, rubbing, or pulling at your lash extensions.
CAN I WEAR MAKEUP WITH LASH EXTENSIONS?
Yes you can still wear makeup, however oil free makeup is highly recommended. As well as oil free face cleansers. Avoid using bottom mascara and any oil based liners.
